Abstract: Objective: To design and develop an "Internet?+?Nursing Service" platform. Methods: Using the internet as the carrier and the "O2O" model as the functional pathway, we applied the Java programming language and server-side Java technology to develop the platform. We collected information from 21 clients and 4 nurses through quantitative and qualitative methods to evaluate the application of the platform. Results: The average registration time among 21 clients was (3.21±0.78) minutes, the satisfaction rating for the service among 9 patients who booked online/offline services was 100%. Both patients and nurses were satisfied with the platform in terms of its operational convenience, professional interface and practical procedure. Conclusion: The "Internet?+?Nursing Service" platform was constructed with approaches incorporating policy orientation and patient needs, and considered safety as the central component. It showed merits in its applicability and simplicity, and provided a reference for exploring the operating mechanism of nursing services under the context of "Internet?+?Nursing Service".
