Abstract: This paper summarized the P wave introduction method using the Intracardiac Electrocardiogram positioning method during the process of Central Venous Access Devices insertion, the basic principles of positioning, different observation indicators, its clinical application status, and application limitations for particular populations. This paper also clarified the evidence basis for positioning and relevant precautions. Through this paper, we aim to provide a practice reference for clinicians and promote the technological advancement of Intracardiac Electrocardiogram positioning.
