Experience of children's caregivers during hospitalization in parent-child ward of COVID-19 designated hospital

摘要: 目的:了解新冠肺炎定点医院亲子病房患儿照护者就医过程中的真实体验。方法:采用质性研究中的现象学研究方法,对上海某新冠肺炎定点医院亲子病房住院的24组家庭进行半结构式访谈,采用NVivo软件结合Colaizzi?7步法对访谈资料进行整理和分析。结果:提炼出5个主题:对亲子病房的向往;正向且积极的心理状态;对亲子病房模式的肯定;未满足的需求;对回归社会的顾虑。结论:新冠肺炎定点医院亲子病房有利于满足患儿及其家庭的照护需求,体现了积极的新冠肺炎诊疗和住院体验,但仍需要护理人员提供更多维度的健康指导。

Abstract: Objective: To understand the experience of children's caregivers during hospitalization in parent-child ward of COVID-19 designated hospital. Methods: Using phenomenological research method in qualitative study, semi-structured interviews were conducted among 24 families living in the parent-child wards of designated hospital. Data were transcribed and analyzed by the software Nvivo based on Colaizzi's method. Results: A total of 5 categories were extracted: expectation for the parent-child ward in the designated hospital; positive attitude; appreciation of parent-child ward; unmet needs; concerns on back to the society. Conclusion: The patient-child wards in the COVID-19 designated hospital are conducive to meet the needs of children and their families during treatment, which reflects positive inpatient experience. Meanwhile, nurses need to provide more multi-dimensional health guidance for caregivers.
