Abstract: This paper reviews the research progress of arterial puncture related pain management in children, intervention methods include pharmacological interventions such as the use of local anesthetics; non-pharmaceutical interventions such as cryotherapy, distraction, non-nutritional sucking and using sweeteners, kangaroo care, massage, and other techniques, as well as innovations in puncture technology such as ultrasound-guided puncture, summarizes the existing problems of children artery puncture related pain management, puts forward the future research direction and trend, to provide a reference for standardizing the pain management practice of arterial puncture in children.
