Abstract: Objective: To explore the needs of health education based on mobile health in community-dwelling older patients with Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD). Methods: A semi-structured interview was conducted in 12 older patients with COPD in a community. Results: Four themes emerged from the data: usage needs, contents needs, function needs, and design needs of health education based on mobile health. Conclusion: Before providing health education based on mobile health, we should fully understand patients' needs and send accurate, easy-to-understand and targeted health information in time by mobile platform. In addition, the interface of health education software should be concise and clear, and the operation steps should be simplified as much as possible, to facilitate the use in older patients with COPD.
