Abstract: Objective: To synthesise the caregiving experience of parents with Cerebral Palsy children. Methods: We searched PubMed, Web of Science, EBSCO, ScienceDirect, Wanfang, CNKI and VIP databases. Qualitative studies about the parental caregiving experiences of children with Cerebral Palsy were included, and the results were assessed by a pooled integration approach using the Australian JBI Evidence-Based Health Care Center (2008) Quality Evaluation Standards for Quality Research. Results: A total of 12 studies were included to refine 36 well-defined findings, which were combined into 11 new categories and integrated into 3 integrated results. Integrated theme 1: As the main caregivers of children with Cerebral Palsy, parents are exhausted physically and mentally due to the challenges and financial burdens in the care. Integrated theme 2: Parents lack family support in caring and are not understood; they actively desire external support and help due to the limited ability. Integrated theme 3: With the passage of care time, parents constantly adjust themselves, gain positive psychological growth and gradually adapt to the role of caregiver. Conclusion: The caregiving experiences of parents with Cerebral Palsy children are worthy of attention. It's necessary to provide psychological counseling and guidance on caregiving knowledge and skills during the process of parents, psychological, physical and life adjustment, to assist them in the role of caregivers and to promote the healthy growth of children with Cerebral Palsy.
