服务性学习在高职《老年护理》实践教学中的应用

Application of Service-Learning on practical teaching of Geriatric Nursing in higher vocational colleges

摘要: 目的:分析服务性学习在老年护理实践教学中的应用效果。方法:质性研究和量性研究相结合。随机整群抽取103名护生并分组,对照组采取传统实践教学,实验组在此基础上采用服务性学习,比较两组对老年人的态度、评判性思维能力、考试成绩。访谈实验组护生及工作人员对该活动的评价。结果:实验组护生实验前后对老年人态度得分以及两组护生实验后对老年人态度得分比较有统计学差异(P<0.05),两组考试成绩对比有差异(P<0.05)。实验组评判性思维能力总分及寻求真相、系统化能力、自信心三个维度较实验前有所增长(P<0.05)。护生和工作人员对该活动的评价较为积极。结论:服务性学习能够改善护生对老年人的态度和提高护生的评判性思维能力,有利于养老护理事业和护理教育事业的发展。

Abstract: Objective: To analyze the effects of service-learning on the practical teaching in geriatric nursing. Methods: Qualitative study and quantitative study were combined to compare the effects of service-learning method. Totally 103 nursing students were randomly divided into two groups. The traditional practice teaching was adopted by the control group, while the experimental group were with service-learning on the basis of traditional teaching. The attitudes toward the aged, the ability of critical thinking and the final test score of the two groups were compared. The nursing students and the staff of institutions, evaluation about the teaching program were collected by interview. Results : There were significant difference in the attitudes to the aged before and after teaching in the test group, and the attitudes to the aged and test score after teaching between the two groups (P<0.05). The total scores of critical thinking ability, the seeking truth ability, systematization ability and self-confidence in the experimental group were improved after the teaching (P<0.05). The students and staff of institutions evaluated the service-learning teaching method in a positive way. Conclusion: The service-learning is benefit to improve the students' attitudes toward the aged and the critical thinking ability, and it is beneficial for the development of nursing care for the aged and nursing education.
