Objective: To analyze the effects of different non-pharmacological treatments on depression of patients with renal dialysis. Methods: Databases including CNKI, Wanfang data, Embase, PubMed, The Cochrane Library, CINAHL Plus and Scopus were comprehensively searched from inception to March 30, 2021. Studies with randomized controlled trials meeting the inclusion criteria were included, and data extraction and quality evaluation were performed by two authors independently. Stata 15.0 was used to conduct a network meta-analysis. Results: A total of 32 studies with 5 kinds of non-pharmacological interventions, including cognitive behavioral therapy, exercise training, acupoint massage, health education, and relaxation therapy were included. Compared with routine care, rankings of interventions which showed significant effects on depression of patients with renal dialysis were exercise training (SMD=1.34, 95%CI: 0.74-1.94), health education (SMD=0.86, 95%CI: 0.32-1.41) and cognitive behavioral therapy (SMD=0.72, 95%CI: 0.06-1.31). Conclusion: Non-pharmacological interventions are benefit to reduce the depression level of patients with renal dialysis, and regular exercise, individual specific health education and targeted cognitive behavioral therapy are priority interventions.
