Abstract: Multiple sclerosis (MS) is a highly heterogeneous disease characterized by spatially and temporally diverse lesions, along with a variety of neurological symptoms, which pose challenges for self-management in MS patients. This article reviews the overview of digital health technologies and their application in long-term self-management support for patients with MS, including the development and application of multifaceted functions for self-monitoring, mental health and social support, risk prediction and health education support. Additionally, it explores users' acceptance and perceptions of these technologies. It also discusses the challenges in the development of digital health technologies in the field of MS patients self-management, aiming to provide insights for optimizing self-management in MS patients.
