Abstract: Cognitive frailty is an important predictor of Alzheimer's Disease, which is reversible or potentially reversible, and early identification and intervention are crucial to slow down the development of the disease. With the rapid advancement of digital health technologies, digital biomarkers are increasingly used in the early detection of diseases to provide objective, continuous and high-precision data through wearable devices and mobile applications, capable of real-time monitoring of changes in health status. As a consequence, they have become an important tool for the early detection of cognitive frailty. This article reviews the latest progress of digital biomarkers in the assessment of cognitive frailty in the elderly, aiming to provide a scientific basis for early identification, risk prediction and optimization of personalized treatment plans.
