Abstract: Objective: To explore the obstacle factors of temperature management behavior of medical staff during the anesthesia recovery period based on the theoretical domain framework, to provide a basis for exploring postoperative temperature management strategies. Methods: This study used the phenomenological method in qualitative research. An interview outline was designed based on the theoretical domain framework, 13 medical staff were interviewed. The interview data were collated and analyzed using category analysis. Results: Five theoretical domains affected the temperature management behavior during anesthesia resuscitation, which were incomplete understanding of temperature management by medical staff, weak awareness of temperature management, shortage of manpower and equipment in anesthesia resuscitation room, poor orientation organizational atmosphere, and lack of concrete process and specific measures. Conclusion: There are various obstacles affecting the implementation of body temperature management during anesthesia recovery. The five theoretical domains summarized in this study can be used as improvement goals. Managers should explore postoperative temperature management strategies and implement programs to promote quality improvement in body temperature management.
