Rehabilitation management of diastasis recti abdominis after delivery: an evidence summary

Abstract: Objective: To summarize the evidence of postpartum diastasis recti abdominalis rehabilitation management, in order to provide reference and guidance for clinical practice. Methods: Literature of postpartum diastasis recti abdominalis rehabilitation management, were searched from domestic and foreign websites and databases. The search time limit was from database inception to May, 2023. Four researchers independently evaluated and summarized the quality of the literature. Results: A total of 9 articles were included, including two guidelines, one systematic reviews, one expert consensus and five randomized controlled trials. A total of 21 pieces of evidence were summarized, including the influencing factors, diagnosis, manage and health education. Conclusion: Through evidence-based methods, the evidence summarized in this study will provide scientific and detailed management suggestions for postpartum rehabilitation of recti abdominalis dissociation, reduce the adverse effects caused by neglect of management of recti abdominalis disscoiation for partuients, and further improve the quality of life of parturients. At the same time, it is suggested that clinical staff should pay more attention to the separation and rehabilitation management of the postpartum rectus abdominis muscle. In the process of learning from this study, it is necessary to combine the clinical situation of the department and the personal will of the pregnant women to practice.
