Abstract: Objective: To analyze the effect of intervention based on transtheoretical model for home enteral nutrition through gastrointestinal intubation in patients with Crohn's Disease. Methods: Totally 136 patients with Crohn's Disease were divided into control group (68 cases) and intervention group (68 cases) by convenience sampling method. The control group was given traditional education, while the intervention group was given home enteral nutrition intervention based on transtheoretical model. Compared the compliance of enteral nutrition, quality of life, self-efficacy and clinical nutritional indicators before and after intervention. Results: After 6 months of intervention, the scores of enteral nutrition compliance, quality of life and self-efficacy in the intervention group were higher than those in the control group with statistical significance (P<0.05). BMI, albumin, hemoglobin, upper arm circumference, triceps brachii skin fold thickness in the intervention group were better than those in the control group with statistical significance (P<0.05). Conclusions: Intervention based on transtheoretical model for home enteral nutrition through gastrointestinal intubation in patients with Crohn's Disease can improve patients' enteral nutrition compliance, quality of life, self-efficacy and nutritional status.
