The expectation of a good death from the perspective of different social roles: a literature review

Abstract: This paper summarized the definition and the key components of a good death, and explored the expectations of different social roles, including patients with end-stage disease, their caregivers and the healthcare providers. It is expected to provide information for medical staff to improve care at the end of life and provide theoretical basis for the further development of hospice care in China.
