Abstract: Objective: To investigate the status quo of the partnership between pediatric nurses and children's parents and analyze the influencing factors. Methods: From September to December 2021, the convenience sampling method was used to investigate the pediatric nurses in 14 tertiary grade A hospitals in Hainan province. The general data questionnaire, the Pediatric Nurse Parent Partnership Scale (PNPPS), the nurse moral courage scale and the nurse occupational deviance behavior scale were used. Results: The PNPPS score of pediatric nurses was 142.05±13.78. The score of moral courage scale for nurses was 73.88±4.23. The score of occupational deviant behavior scale for nurses was 26.85±9.28. Multiple regression analysis showed that the main factors influencing the PNPPS scores of pediatric nurses were moral courage, professional deviant behavior, nursing age, children and professional title (all P<0.05), which could explain 40.4% of the variation of PNPPS scores of pediatric nurses. Conclusion: The partnership between pediatric nurses and children's parents was above the average level. Nursing manager can promote nurses' moral courage and professional deviant behavior, and focus on nursing staff with short nursing experience, no children at home, and low professional title, to further strengthen the development of partnership, so as to promote the improvement of nursing quality.
