Abstract: Objective: To analyze the family caregiver burden and its influencing factors of Systemic Lupus Erythematosus (SLE) patients, provide a reference for reducing the burden of patients families. Methods: Totally 138 family caregivers of SLE patients from a tertiary grade A hospital were conveniently sampled and investigated by Zarit Caregiver Burden Interview, the Barthel index of ADL, SLEDAI?-?2000, Family Inventory of Life Events and Changes, and Family Inventory of Resources for Management. Multivariate stepwise regression analysis was used to analyze the influencing factors of caregiver burden. Results: The family caregiver burden of SLE patients was 31.00 (22.00, 43.25). The influencing factors included caregiver occupation, household income, family life events, family control and health status of family members (P<0.05). Conclusion: The burden of the SLE patients' caregivers was mainly light to moderate. Medical staff should make a holistic assessment of the patient's family so as to reduce the caregivers burden and promote the physical and mental health and quality of life of both patients and caregivers.
