Abstract: Objective: To translate and revise the Tampa Scale for Kinesiophobia Heart (TSK-SV Heart), and to verify the reliability and validity of the revised Chinese version of the scale, to provide an effective assessment tool for the kinesiophobia in patients with heart disease. Methods: The Brislin model was used to forward-back translation of the scale. Based on expert discussion and pilot survey, the scale was culturally revised. Totally 550 patients with coronary heart disease completed the questionnaire survey through convenience sampling method from a tertiary hospital in Tianjin. The results of the survey were statistically analyzed using SPSS 21.0 to measure the reliability and validity of the scale. Results: The Chinese version of TSK-SV Heart contained 17 items. Exploratory factor analysis identified 4 principal factors, which explained 61.389% of the total variance. The confirmatory factor analysis showed that the model fit well. The content validity analysis showed that S-CVI/UA was 0.824, I-CVI was 0.800-1.000, S-CVI/Ave was 0.965. The Cronbach's α coefficient of the scale was 0.859, and the Cronbach's α coefficients of each dimension were 0.743-0.824. The split-half reliability of the scale was 0.792, and the split-half reliability of each dimension were 0.810-0.821. The test-retest reliability of the scale was 0.792, and the test-retest reliability of each dimension were 0.674-0.740. Conclusion: The Chinese version of TSK-SV Heart has good reliability and validity, and can be used to evaluate the level of kinesiophobia in Chinese patients with heart disease.
