Abstract: Spontaneous hypothermia is an independent predictor of poor prognosis and mortality in trauma patients. This article reviews the definition, incidence, risk factors and interventions of spontaneous hypothermia in patients after trauma, aiming at providing evidence for future clinical practice and research.
