Abstract: Objective: To evaluate the effect of multidisciplinary cooperating exercise on quality of life and micro-inflammatory state among patients undergoing Maintenance Hemodialysis (MHD). Methods: MHD patients consistent with inclusion criteria were randomly divided into the controls group (n=45) and the experimental group (n=42). Patients in the control group did not take any exercise intervention, while the experimental group conducted multidisciplinary cooperating exercise using smart sports bike three times a week, lasting for 12 weeks. The quality of life and micro-inflammatory state of two groups before and after intervention were assessed and compared. Results: After the intervention, the quality of life of the experimental group was higher than that of the control group (P<0.05). The scores of hypersensitive-C-reactive protein and interleukin-6 of the experimental group were lower than those in the control group (P<0.05). Conclusion: The multidisciplinary cooperating exercise could improve the quality of life and micro-inflammatory state in MHD patients, therefore it can be used as a routine treatment.
