Hospital workplace violence management practice under the Shenzhen-Hong Kong model

Abstract: Workplace violence in hospitals has been frequent in recent years, causing widespread concern in the medical community. To ensure the safety of medical staff, the Shenzhen Hospital of Hong Kong University has established a system and process for coordinated management of workplace violence through continuous exploration and practice. This study elaborates on the establishment of anti-violence management mode and system, facilities and equipment investment, multi-department coordination and training, in order to provide peers with an anti-violence management model to further enhance the violence prevention ability of medical staff.
