Abstract: Objective: To summarize the evidence of sleep quality management in adult ICU patients, evaluate and summarize the evidence, and provide scientific and reasonable management plan for improving the sleep quality of adult ICU patients. Methods: According to the top-down principle of evidence resource "6S" model, the computer retrieval content involved the treatment, nursing and management guidelines, expert consensus, best practice, clinical decision-making, evidence summary, systematic evaluation of ICU patients' sleep, and the retrieval period was from January 1, 2017 to February 28, 2021. The researchers independently evaluated the literature quality, extracted relevant evidence and summarized it. Results: A total of 12 articles were included, including 2 guidelines, 9 systematic reviews, and 1 evidence summary. Finally, a total of 4 evidence themes were formed: risk factors, sleep assessment tools, sleep management programs, education for ICU patients; and a total of 17 evidentiary opinions. Conclusion: Medical staff should pay attention to the sleep quality of adult ICU patients, and fully consider the possibility of drug intervention in patients' sleep and the feasibility of non-drug intervention measures, prudently apply evidence to existing work, and promote the transformation of evidence into clinical practice.
