Abstract: Objective: To analyze the clinical application effect of HIS intelligent information management of narcotic drugs and psychotropic drugs in the department of anesthesiology. Methods: Since November 2019, HIS intelligent information management of narcotic drugs and psychotropic drugs has been implemented in the department of anesthesiology, comprehensive rectification on the access and prescription management of narcotic drugs and psychotropic drugs has been carried out. The time required for taking and returning drugs, the frequency of taking drugs, prescriptions error rate, drugs abandonment rate, the incidence of adverse events related to narcotic drugs and psychotropic drugs and the satisfaction of medical staff with workload of narcotic drugs and psychotropic drugs were counted 12 months before and after using HIS intelligent information management. Results: Compared with before, the time required for taking and returning drugs, the frequency of taking drugs, prescriptions error rate, drugs abandonment rate, the incidence of adverse events related to narcotic drugs and psychotropic drugs decreased significantly after the application of HIS intelligent information management for narcotic drugs and psychotropic drugs (P<0.05); the satisfaction of medical staff with workload of narcotic drugs and psychotropic drugs was significantly improved (P<0.05). Conclusion: The intelligent information management of narcotic drugs and psychotropic drugs can significantly improve the management quality, reduce the incidence of adverse events related to narcotic drugs and psychotropic drugs, promote the use of narcotic drugs and psychotropic drugs more safe, efficient and standardized.
