Meta-integration of the return to school experience of childhood brain tumor survivors

摘要: 目的:系统整合儿童脑肿瘤生存者重返学校体验,为其尽快适应重返学校生活提供参考。方法:全面检索国内外数据库中有关儿童脑肿瘤生存者重返学校体验的研究,检索时限为建库至2025年2月19日。根据澳大利亚JBI循证卫生保健中心质性研究质量评价标准对纳入文献进行质量评价,采用汇集性整合法对纳入的文献进行整合与分析。结果:共纳入8篇文献,提炼28个研究结果,归纳为10个新类别,合成3个整合结果,即重返学校积极与消极心理体验并存、重返学校面临多重挑战,期待多方面资源支持。结论:应充分关注儿童脑肿瘤生存者在适应重返学校过程中的生活体验和社会需求,构建支持其回归学校的长期多元化干预措施,基于我国国情完善儿童脑肿瘤生存者学业保障制度,促进其重返学校及社会。

Abstract: Objective: To systematically integrate the return to school experiences of pediatric brain tumor survivors, and to inform their quick adaptation to return to school life. Methods: A comprehensive search of domestic and foreign databases on the experience of pediatric brain tumor survivors returning to school was conducted from inception to February 19, 2025. The quality of the included literature was evaluated according to the quality assessment criteria for qualitative research of the Australian JBI Centre for Evidence-Based Health Care, and the pooled integration method was used to integrate and analyze the included literature. Results: A total of 8 articles were included, 28 research results were extracted and categorized into 10 new categories, and synthesized into 3 integrative results, namely, the complexity of the psychological experience of return to school with both positive experiences and negative experiences, the multiple challenges of return to school, and the expectation of long-term diversified support for the process of return to school. Conclusion: Healthcare professionals should pay full attention to the life experience and social needs of pediatric brain tumor survivors in the process of adapting to return to school, construct long-term diversified interventions to support their return to school, improve the academic security system for pediatric brain tumor survivors, and promote their return to school and reintegration into society.
