Abstract: The paper described the methods, advantages and needs of parents participating in neonatal pain management. The factors affecting the implementation of parental involvement in neonatal pain management were reviewed in terms of the importance of nurses' roles, the lack of assessment tools and methods, parental knowledge, belief and behavior, along with information mismatch between parents and nurses. The aim is to provide a basis for optimal pain management and a reference for future nursing management.
