Abstract: Objective: To conduct a scoping review on the application of Quantified Self (QS) technologies in home-based fluid management for patients with Chronic Heart Failure (CHF), and to provide a reference for home-based fluid management of CHF patients. Methods: We conducted a literature review according to the scoping review framework by searching relevant Chinese and English databases from their inception to April 30, 2025. Then the included studies were summarized and analyzed. Results: A total of 29 studies were included, according to which QS technologies encompassed mobile apps, wearable devices, remote monitoring systems, and sensor-driven digital games. The key components involved data monitoring, early warning feedback, educational support, interactive communication, behavioral incentives, and personalized decision-making. Additionally, the outcome types included self-management behaviors, quality of life, physiological indicators, clinical outcomes, knowledge and psychological status, as well as acceptability and feasibility. Conclusion: The application of QS technologies for home-based volume management in CHF patients suggested feasibility, effectiveness, and safety. In the future, efforts should focus on enhancing technology integration and age-friendly design, leveraging medical consortia to promote digital collaboration among hospitals, communities, and households, and establishing a new model for home-based volume management.
