Abstract: Objective: To construct a position value evaluation system for cardiovascular nursing units based on Diagnosis Related Groups (DRG), and to provide a scientific reference for rational allocation of human resources and performance appraisal. Methods: Based on DRG weights and Case Mix Index, a preliminary draft of position value evaluation system for cardiovascular nursing unit was developed through literature analysis and semi-structured interviews. Subsequently, two rounds of Delphi expert consultation were conducted with 15 experts between March and April 2025 to establish the evaluation index system. The Analytic Hierarchy Process was then applied to determine the index weights. Results: The response rates for both rounds of expert consultation were 100.0%, with authority coefficients of 0.890 and 0.893, respectively. Kendall's concordance coefficients were 0.149 and 0.196 (both P<0.001). The developed position value evaluation system for cardiovascular nursing units based on DRG included 4 first-level indicators, 10 second-level indicators, and 51 third-level indicators. Conclusion: The position value evaluation system for cardiovascular nursing units constructed based on DRG demonstrates scientific validity and reliability. It can serve as an objective assessment tool for evaluating position value in cardiovascular nursing units, providing a scientific reference for nursing staff allocation and performance appraisal.
