Abstract

Abstract: Since the establishment of the Western Nurses Union in 2015, it has successively launched five projects, concerning intravenous therapy promotion, maternal and child health promotion, geriatric nursing promotion, sterilization and supply management, and chronic disease management-diabetes care. The Union has hitherto carried out a lot of work to improve nursing service, nursing research and education of nursing talents in the western area of China. This article reviews the establishment and development of the Western Nurses Union, its work and achievements in recent years, and its prospects in the future.
