Abstract: Objective: To analyze the potential categories and predictors of the trace change of physical activity rank in patients with Acute Type A Aortic Dissection (ATAAD) after surgical treatment, and to improve the physical activity rank of patients. Methods: The convenience sampling method was used to investigate patients with ATAAD who were discharged from a tertiary grade A hospital in Beijing from January 2022 to November 2023. The General Information Questionnaire, the Physical Activity Rank Scale, the Brief Illness Perception Questionnaire, the Tampa Scale for Kinesiophobia Heart, the Social Support Rating Scale, and the Exercise Self-Efficacy Scale were used to collect baseline data from the patients, and the physical activity rank were assessed at 1, 3, and 6 months after discharge, respectively. The growth mixture modeling was applied to identify the developmental trajectories, and the multivariate Logistic regression was used to analyze the predictive factors of different developmental trace. Results: Total of 221 patients were included, and three trace categories of physical activity rank were identified: moderate exercise intensity-maintenance group (29.4%), low exercise intensity group (13.6%), and moderate exercise intensity-decline group (57.0%). Age, occupation, disease perception, exercise fear and exercise self-efficacy were independent predictors of potential categories of different development trajectories (P<0.05). Conclusion: The development trace of physical activity rank in patients with ATAAD during 6 months after surgical treatment has population specificity. Healthcare professionals should identify early based on the predictors of the trace categories, and develop personalized and targeted intervention measures to improve the physical activity rank of patients.
