Abstract: Optimal physical and psychological conditions are essential for kidney transplant patients before transplantation. Pre-habilitation, by increasing preoperative physiological reserve capacity, is an effective intervention to improve the health status of these patients, reduce postoperative complications, and promote rehabilitation. This review summarizes the necessity, main contents, and limitations of current research on the pre-habilitation implementation in kidney transplant patients, to provide a reference for the further promotion of pre-habilitation in kidney transplant patients in China.
