Abstract: Patients with advanced cancer have a high incidence of delirium, high risk, and high missed rates, which can lead to worsening of the patient's condition, long-term cognitive impairment, and increased mortality. The recognition of delirium in advanced cancer patients by nurses, who have more contact with patients, is very important for promoting effective management of delirium in advanced cancer patients. This paper reviews the content, characteristics, application status and limitations of delirium assessment tools in patients with advanced cancer developed at home and abroad, in order to provide reference for the development and application of various delirium assessment tools in patients with advanced cancer, and to provide reference for the formulation of effective delirium management programs for delirium patients with advanced cancer.
