Application progress on the Person-Based Approach in digital health interventions

Abstract: The present state of digital health interventions demonstrates a considerable range in quality, marked by concerns such as inadequate appeal and usability, insufficient user involvement, poor retention rates, and an overall deficiency in intervention effectiveness. The utilization of the Person-Based Approach holds substantial importance in establishing a standardized development process for digital health interventions and improving their quality and effectiveness. This article provides an overview of the Person-Based Approach, including its general concept, specific processes and implementation steps in digital health interventions, application effects, challenges faced, and insights and recommendations. The aim is to offer insights for improving the development process of digital health intervention programs and enhancing their quality and effectiveness.
