Abstract: This study elaborated the concept of communication ability between nurses and patients, and introduced the evaluation scale of communication ability between nurses and patients at home and abroad. It provided a strategy for practical evaluation of communication ability of nurses and patients, and provide a more scientific and comprehensive approach for training new nurses in hospitals to evaluate their communication skills. It also can work as a reference for training clinical nurses to improve their communication skills and thus improve the relationship between nurses and patients.
