The pain of patients after craniocerebral surgery and the effect of standardized pain care procedures

Abstract: Objective: To analyze the effect of standardized procedures of pain care on patients after craniocerebral surgery. Methods: The pain status after craniocerebral surgery was assessed, and the standardized procedures of pain care was used, and the pain management effects was compared between standardized procedures of pain care group and the group without it. Results: The score of pain and the incidence of moderate to severe pain in the group with standardized process of pain care were significantly lower than that in the group without standardized process of pain care (P<0.01). The score of satisfaction with standardized process of pain care was significantiy higher than that in the group without it (P<0.05). Conclusion: The standardized procedures of pain care is suitable for patients after craniocerebral surgery and it is worthy of clinical application.
