The effects of O2O model in the health management of young and middle-aged patients with hypertension

Abstract: Objective: To analyze the effects of Online To Offline (O2O) model in the health management of young and middle-aged patients with hypertension in community. Methods: The 262 young and middle-aged patients with primary hypertension to accept medical examination or treatment in a community health service center in Urumqi from February to May, 2017 were included and randomly divided into two groups. The patients in intervention group were with O2O model health management for 6 months, and those in control group were with community contract service. Results: The scores of hypertension knowledge and compliance of the intervention group were higher than the scores of the control group (P<0.05). The blood pressure of patients in both groups were lower after the intervention, and the antihypertensive effect was more obvious in the intervention group (P<0.05). Conclusion: The O2O model is benefit to improve the health management knowledge, the treatment compliance and the blood pressure control of young and middle-aged patients in community.
