Abstract: To understand the current situation of medical waste management in the context of "Internet+ Nursing Service" and figure out the problems existing under present circumstances, which mainly included: the lack of relevant medical waste management system for home care services, the incomplete relevant provision of medical waste sorting and treatment facilities for home care services, and nurses appointed through the internet lacking knowledge on the management of medical wastes, etc. As Chinese "Internet+ Nursing Service" has just started, it is requisite to establish and improve the relevant medical waste management system, rationally configure the facilities of medical waste sorting treatment, strengthen nurses' understanding and publicity of regulations on medical waste management as well as the classification and disposal of medical waste so as to ensure the proper disposal of medical waste and avoid the harm to people and the ecological environment.
