Abstract: Objective: To explore the effect of the customized training model for integrated nursing that combines traditional Chinese and western medicine. Methods: A total of 38 nursing students in Tianjin Medical College were chosen in the training program. Results: The students’ mean scores of theory, clinical practice and patient satisfaction were (92.57±6.39),(95.75±4.62) and 99.69, respectively. Eventually 28 excellent students were employed in the hospital. Conclusion: The customized training model provides professional nurses by early specialized teaching, clinical practice, in-class training and diversified methods of teaching. It could augment our nursing team, give full play to the advantages of Traditional Chinese medicine, and improve quality of care.
