Abstract: Pulmonary rehabilitation is one of the main disease management methods of Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD). Now the effect of home-based pulmonary rehabilitation has been confirmed. However, its use is still limited by time, space and other factors. The application of telerehabilitation technology could provide a solution to above issues. This article summarized the research progress of using telerehabilitation technology to assist home-based pulmonary rehabilitation for patients with COPD, mainly including the forms of using telerehabilitation technology to assist home-based pulmonary rehabilitation and the impacts on the outcome for patients. It could provide references for better implementation of pulmonary rehabilitation programs for patients with COPD, thus, to ultimately improve the clinical outcomes of patients.
