Abstract: The relocation stress would cause serious physical and psychological hazards on the patients in Intensive Care Unit (ICU) and their family members. The article summarized the concept of relocation stress, related theories,precipitating factors, bad consequences, assessment instruments and improvement measures, aiming to provide certain basis for reducing the occurrence of the relocation stress of patients in ICU and their family members.
