Abstract: Objective: To discuss the influence of the new obstetrical labor standards and management in its application to maternal, newborns and the practice in delivery room. Methods: The study utilized a retrospective casecontrol analysis. The control group included 620 inpatients who delivered during September to November in 2013. The experimental group gathered 956 inpatients delivered during September to November in 2014. Results: We analyzed the data from the two groups. The first stage of labor and the total stage of labor in the total cases, the case with PROM and the cases with DM were statistically significantly different (P<0.05).The perineum integrity and cesarean section rate (from labor room) were statistically significantly different (P<0.05). Conclusion: The new obstetrical labor standards and management should be worthy to be generalized in the application, but the challenges should be noticed for the practice in delivery room.
