Abstract: Objective: The study aimed to investigate bachelor degree nurses'perceptions ofcareer planningin public hospitals. Methods: In 2014, a cross-sectional survey by questionnaire was conducted. A total of 434 bachelor degree nurses working in 18 public hospitals were participated in the study. Results: The mean score of nurses'career planningwas (40.57±8.14). Subscales in descending order by scoring rate are continuous learning, focusingon relationship, identifying career target and strategy, self-presentation. Multiple stepwise regression analysis showed that, the district level, age, school,the hospital type, title, jobs are the main factors of career Planning. Conclusion: bachelor degree nurses'career planning is in the medium level, it is suggested that nursing decision makers should be according to the hospital, hospital grade, age,job title, such as characteristics, the categorized intervention measures, improvement of management and service, so as to improve the ability of career planning, improve the stability of a bachelor's degree in nursing, and improve the quality of nursing.
