Abstract: Objective: To explore the effects of implementing Quality Control Circle (QCC) activities to reduce postpartum galactostasis. Methods: The QCC for reducing postpartum galactostasis was set up. The prevalence survey and causal factor analysis were conducted, and then interventions based on the PDCA cycle and the 5W2H principle were implemented. Results:The rate of postpartum galactostasis reduced from 10.4% to 3.2% after the QCC activities. Conclusion: The QCC activities could identify and resolve the important issues in clinical nursing work, reduce the incidence of postpartum galactostasis and increase breastfeeding success rate.
