Abstract: Laryngeal cancer is one of the common malignant tumors in head and neck. The main treatment method for middle-advanced laryngeal cancer is surgery. Olfactory disorder is a common postoperative complication with high incidence and serious impact on patients' quality of life. This article reviews the causes of olfactory disorder, olfactory assessment and rehabilitation training methods in patients with laryngeal cancer after surgery. The objective of this article is to improve the awareness and attention of physicians to olfactory function, and provide reference for clinical olfactory rehabilitation. It is hoped that the olfactory function and quality of life of laryngeal cancer patients in China will be improved.
