Evidence summary for the management of compliance with exercise rehabilitation in stroke patients

Abstract: Objective: To retrieve, evaluate and integrate relevant evidence on the management of compliance with exercise rehabilitation in stroke patients, so as to provide references for improving exercise rehabilitation compliance of stroke patients. Methods: The relevant literature on the management of exercise rehabilitation compliance of stroke patients in domestic and foreign databases was systematically searched, and the time for the retrieval was from inception of databases until August 2022. The researcher independently evaluated the quality of literature, and extracted and integrated the best evidence. Results: A total of 13 studies were included, including 6 guidelines, 1 expert consensus, 2 practice recommendations, 1 evidence summary, 2 systematic reviews and 1 original research with randomized controlled trial design. A total of 25 pieces from 5 aspects of evidence were summarized, including the general policy, exercise plan, health education, self-management and feedback monitoring. Conclusion: Medical staff should translate the evidence into the adherence management program of stroke patients with exercise rehabilitation in accordance with application practice and patients' willingness, to improve the compliance, completion rate and participation of stroke rehabilitation, and finally improve the clinical symptoms and prognosis of patients, and promote the best rehabilitation.
