Abstract: Objective: To analyse the current situation and the advancement of Comprehensive Geriatric Assessment tools for nursing homes in China and abroad to provide references for the development of Comprehensive Geriatric Assessment tools and implementation of such assessment in the future. Methods: According to the research method of scoping review, related databases were searched. Papers about Comprehensive Geriatric Assessment tools were retrieved from the established time to July 2021. We also searched relevant websites and referred to citation of those included papers. Results: A total of 1619 papers were found, and 24 papers were finally included, 14 Comprehensive Geriatric Assessment tools including interRAI, OARS, CARE and the like were summarized. The assessment focused mainly on the health status of the elderly in order to improve their life quality. Conclusion: There are no available Comprehensive Geriatric Assessment tools for the elderly in nursing homes currently, which calls for such tools to keep pace with the times with dynamism, continuity and integrity.
