Abstract: Objective: To establish the core competence evaluation index of breast cancer surgical nurses in surgical decision aids. Methods: Based on literature review, theoretical analysis and qualitative interviews, the core competence indicators were initially formulated. Totally 18 experts were consulted for two rounds using Delphi methods, and the weights of indicators at all levels were determined. Results: The evaluation indexes of the core competence of breast cancer surgical nurses in surgical decision aids were formed, including 6 first-level indexes, 14 second-level indexes, and 46 third-level indexes. The effective response rates of the two rounds of expert consultations were both 100.0%, and the expert authority coefficients were both 0.897. The Kendall coordination coefficients of the first and second round were 0.112 and 0.125 respectively, which were all significantly different (P<0.001). Conclusion: The core competence evaluation index of breast cancer surgical nurses in surgical decision aids is scientific, comprehensive and clinical meaningful, which can provide references for the standardized training of nurses and the formulation of standardized workflows, and can also promote the development of Shared Decision Making in various hospitals.
