Abstract: Objective: To analyze the effect on shortening Door-to-Needle Time (DNT) and improving the quality of ischemic stroke treatment by optimizing the “one-stop multi-modal” CT examination process. Methods: 145 patients admitted to a tertiary grade A hospital from December 2015 to March 2018 were divided into control group and experimental group. The experimental group carried out process optimization, adopted "parallel mode" and cut the time-consuming parts. The time of different steps, DNT, patient prognosis and nursing satisfaction were compared before and after process optimization. Results: After the process optimization, the Door-to-CT time and DNT was significantly shorter in the experimental group than the control group (P<0.001). The nursing satisfaction was significantly improved (P<0.05), and hospital stay was significantly shortened (P<0.001). Conclusion: "One-stop multi-modal" CT examination process optimization improves the quality of ischemic stroke treatment, shortens DNT, and improves patient nursing satisfaction.
