Abstract: Objective: To evaluate and summarize the best-practice evidence on physical activity for cancer survivors. Methods: We systematically searched websites of professional organizations, websites of clinical practice guidelines and databases for guidelines, evidence summary, recommended practice, systematic review and expert consensus on physical activity for cancer survivors. Data retrieval included all related materials up to December 31, 2019. Three authors independently evaluated the quality of literatures and extracted data. Results: Ten references were included for final synthesis, which included twoguidelines, one evidence summary, one expert consensus and six systematic reviews. Six categories were concluded for current evidence on physical activity, which included the benefits of physical activity, physical activity assessment, the volume, type, intensity, frequency and duration of physical activity, safety of physical activity and strategies for promoting physical activity, with a total of 10 summarized items of evidence to be recommended for cancer survivors. Conclusion: The evidence in this field is rather comprehensive. Medical institutions and clinical healthcare providers can refer to these evidences and transform, apply them in daily practice by considering the actual environment and adapting physical activity practice to current practice, and establishing physical activity programs for cancer survivors to improve their level of physical activity and quality of life.
