Abstract: Psychological distress seriously endangers individuals' mental health and life security, which has become a crucial issue that urgently needs to be addressed in the fields of oncology nursing and psychology. Multi-modal perception technology utilizes multiple information for human-computer interaction, effectively assisting computer to identify and predict individual mental problems. This article provides an overview of the application of multi-modal perception technology in the assisted recognition, prediction and intervention of psychological distress, as well as its limitations and suggestions in the management of psychological distress, in order to provide inspiration and direction for promoting the intelligent application of the technology in nursing work.
