Abstract: Objective: To explore centralized management of hospital supplies in Central Sterile Supply Department (CSSD).Methods: The system management, equipment classification management, information system management and processing flow of surgical instruments were enhanced in the CSSD. Results: The reusable instruments from all of the divisions in the hospital were intensively managed in the CSSD. The clinical needs were fully met. Conclusion: The improvement of the system, process and human resources management in the CSSD could realize centralized supply management in the hospital.
