台湾某医院护理人员对维护住院病人隐私的看法、行为及态度的相关因素研究

摘要: 目的:调查台湾某医院护理人员对维护住院病人隐私的看法、行为及态度,并分析其相关因素。方法:采用横断面设计,对方便取样的57 位护理人员进行维护住院病人隐私的看法、行为及态度的问卷调查。结果:护理人员对维护病人隐私倾向于非常重要及容易执行。护理人员年龄、工作年资与其“执行护理活动时促进病人隐私维护的努力程度”呈正相关;教育程度与护理人员“自觉其他医护人员对自己应维护病人隐私的期望程度”呈正相关;年龄、工作年资与护理人员“执行护理活动时维护病人隐私的频率”呈正相关;工作年资与“对维护病人隐私的态度与情绪感觉”呈正相关;参与病人隐私课程与“环境及工作负荷对促进病人隐私维护的影响程度”呈正相关。结论:应针对不同情况的护理人员有针对性进行维护病人隐私的教育,未来应从病人的角度来探讨其对隐私的看法,以提升病人隐私维护的质量。

Abstract: Objective: The purpose of this study is to describe the perceptions, behaviors and attitudes of nursing staff concerning the maintenance of patient privacy at one hospital in Taiwan. Methods: It was a cross-sectional study. A total of 57 nursing staff working in the hospital completed the questionnaires. Results: The nursing staff believed that maintaining patients' privacy was both very important and easy to implement. Age and working experiences are positively correlated to the effort of maintaining patient's privacy as providing nursing care. Attending continue education in patient privacy is significant differences with the effect of environments and working loading in promoting patient privacy. There was a positive correlation between educational level and nursing staff's awareness of others' expectations that they would maintain patient privacy. Age and working experiences are positively correlated with nursing staff's behavior in frequency of maintaining patient privacy. Furthermore, working experiences and attitude and willing in maintaining patient privacy. Conclusion: Further study on patients' perceptions of the maintenance of privacy is needed to improve the quality of care in maintaining patients' privacy.
